Content
 The Woogloo Content Management System has been designed from the ground up to enable you to quickly and easily make changes to almost every aspect of your website. Because it is a front-end system (i.e. you make all the changes on the page itself instead of in a backend administration program or area) it is intuitive to use, easy to navigate around and gives you a Graphical User Interface (GUI) environment that enables you to see the effects of any change instantly.
WYSIWYG Text/HTML editor
The advanced content management system has an easy to use WYSIWYG (i.e. What You See Is What You Get) HTML editor that is as easy to use as Word and gives you all of it text formatting features.
Inserting Images
You can quickly and easily upload images to your website and insert them into the content of your web page. You can align left and right to wrap text around them, put spacing them, set border width and color and drag them around the page simply using your mouse.
Inserting Links
The editor is clever enough to automatically put links on website addresses (e.g. http://www.valuewebsites.co.nz) and email addresses. You can also quickly and easily create links to pages on or off your website and to files or documents that you upload to the server.
Table Editor
With full table creation and editing control, the editor allows you the ability to further control page content lay-up by placing text or pictures inside cells of a table. Or you could simply create a nice table to display data to your clients in a readable way.
Word File Paste & Cleanup
You can also paste your content in from a Word document and clean out the excessive HTML that Word creates by simply pressing CTRL + 0 (i.e. by holding down the CTRL key and pressing the 0 (zero) key). While this will strip out any formatting set-up in Word, it will ensure that the text formatting is the same as the rest of your website and that it is viewable in any browser window and is fast to download.
Edit/Paste HTML Code
As a true WYSIWYG editor it automatically turns whatever you type into HTML that you can further edit and control. Or you could simply paste in your own HTML as required - giving you even more control! (NOTE: You cannot place forms directly inside the WYSIWYG Editor. However, our Custom Form functionality gives you this control.)
Two Rich Content Areas
To make the page lay-up even more flexible, your Woogloo system has two page content areas with all the flexibility of the WYSIWYG Editor.
Because of the power of the editor, one content area would normally be quite sufficient to add any content you wanted with any sort of lay-up. But, because we wanted to ensure that you did not have to spend too much time thinking about content lay-up, we included a second content area that can be used to put in, for example, a second narrower column on to every page or a promotional area down the side bar of a page, etc.
It is up to your imagination, and that of your website designer, as to how you will use this second rich content area - maybe it could be used to simply make the banner different on every page - up to you!
Page/Menu Structure Management
This gives you the ability to add unlimited pages to your website as well as control every aspect of your website's page structure (i.e. it's navigation or menu system) - no more per page setup charges, which effectively limits your website's potential.
Adding a new page can be done by simply pressing the 'Add a New Page' button. Your Woogloo system will add the new page to your menu structure and take you to that new page to allow you to begin editing it.
From there you can:

Change the page's name as displayed in the menu structure.

Hide the page from the menu structure - creating 'blind' or hidden areas of your website - great for building an intranet within your website that is only accessible to staff members or other authorized people.

Change the page's order in the menu structure.

Link it to another page for more complex control over the menu structure.

Shift it around in the menu structure by changing it's parent page and what level within the menu structure it is on.

Change the type of the page - i.e. from a standard page to a category page, etc.

Inject a bit of imagination along with the powerful menu design and lay-up functionality and the possibilities are endless.
Page Lay-up/Design Management
The powerful GUI interface give's you the freedom to easily edit your website's page lay-up by simply dragging individual page elements around with your mouse, but this is just the beginning. Every aspect of your website's graphical design can be edited or completely changed allowing you to 'freshen up' your website's design as fashion trends change or your company grows.
Page/Site Format Management
Your website has a very powerful and very flexible system to allow almost any website design to be applied to it.
While we believe it is important that you start with a professionally designed look for your website built by someone competent in web design, you should also be given the control to alter that look as and when required. Even if that simply means dragging the page content further away from the menu structure by a few pixels or changing the size of the text throughout your system to better suit older clients. The system gives you unlimited control over every aspect of your website's lay-up and design - our designers use the same system you have to initially build your website's design.
We give you access to every database parameter that controls that look and lay-up to ensure that you never feel locked in to any one designer and to enable you to quickly and easily make changes to your website - without having to pay someone exorbitant fees first.
Each new page added to your woogloo will automatically be formatted with your website's standard design on it.
Individual Page Format Control
While you cannot effectively build an entirely new website design on every page of your woogloo (which, after all, is very confusing to clients and shows a poor site design), there are enough controls to allow subtle, but distinctive, changes to the overall look of a page for different sections or divisions of your website or company to be adequately branded.
The background color and image of a page can be changed as well as graphical elements changed to suit a different theme within a page or section of your website.
Some elements can even be positioned to suit an individual page as opposed to across the entire site giving you even more control over the look of a page.
Menu Format Management
The menu structure can be formatted to suit your design requirements. It can be either set to horizontal or vertical and then its look and layout adjusted to meet your needs.
Each main menu button can have two images associated with it for a three state system - mouse over the button, mouse off the button or button selected. They can also have two colors instead of two images and different font colors and text decorations (e.g. underline, bold, italic, etc.).
Menu widths can be set, spacing between buttons, text align, font family, font size and text alignment can also be set.
There are also an array of possibilities that can arise from using images at the top, bottom or sides of menu items and blocks.
Again, we give you full access to every database parameter to allow you to easily adjust your menu settings to your liking.
Element Design/Format Control
Every system generated page element can be changed to varying degrees to give you the exact look and feel you want for your website. This fine tuning of individual page items through altering such aspects as font settings, colors, widths and heights, border settings, etc., adds that professional touch to your website.
